With Deepest Sympathy...
We are sad to announce that Heather Hawkins (Bryn Thomas) has died after a long illness courageously fought. She will be remembered by many for her wide-ranging contribution over a significant number of years: Mathematics Teacher, Assistant Timetabler and Head of Nightingale House. Her gift to the School (in memory of her family) was The Ricketts Prize, still awarded annually, to the U6 pupil who had made the most progress through the greatest effort in A-Level Mathematics.
Our thoughts are with her daughter Annie (Alumna), her son Richard and the rest of her family.
